The Temple Builder

There are so many amazing, wonderful temples and spiritual monuments around the world that serve as places of communication to our Creator. For example, to name a few: the White Temple located in Chiang Rai Thailand symbolizes the purity of Buddha; the Golden Temple in Punjab India; The Sacred Tigers Nest Monastery in Bhutan, which is the place where Guru Padmasambhava meditated;  Luxor temple, a great ancient Egyptian temple complex that has a total of six temples in the ancient Egyptian city of Thebes; the Great Pyramid of Giza where mysteries of greater spiritual initiations of ancient Egypt took place; Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem; Jews Synagogue Temples; Great Mosque of Mecca; St. Basil’s Cathedral, Russia; St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City and many more around the world.

These places were built by men of unparalleled wisdom of their time. Some, like the Great Pyramid, are believed to be built by a higher intelligence beyond the human mind. These temples have helped humanity in its evolution of consciousness one way or another.

Temples and spiritual monuments were built with the finest materials and exquisite architectural design, as places to communicate with the Creator.  People seek the temple where the God or the Creator dwells.  They seek the Truth that illuminates the shadow of human ignorance. However, the cloud of dogmas, doctrines and beliefs imprison them from an unending search for Truth and Freedom. They don’t know where to find this temple. They wander in darkness seeking the Light but fail to realize that the Light is in the midst of the darkness.

People line up like a procession to follow the various organizations that promise their Salvation and Freedom. The Mystery Schools however, remain unmoved. They do not bring their Light to man, rather they help man to unfold the Light within himself, making this world brighter than ever. Mystery Schools teach man to build his own Temple. He builds his own character by constructing a temple of character with the purest and finest golden thread that weaves the bodies of his personality to create a shining glowing Temple for his Soul; a true living Temple of God. Truly, man is the living Temple of God.

Matter, Spirit and Life cannot be separated. Matter encases the spirit in total darkness, the eternal prisoner of its own fate in the Cosmic unfolding in the involution cycle, traversing the different forms and species in the evolution of matter, and strives eternally to liberate Itself and gain self-conscious expression. The Spirit within cries for Freedom: Freedom for expression, Freedom to be, to manifest its True Nature in the Divine plan of Cosmic unfoldment. This Son of Light cries out to us in every expression of matter. We are unaware of its Voice calling for us eternally.  We only feel its inner urge.  Some can hear its Voice crying out from flora to fauna, from the stones, from the clouds up to heaven above, as a call for the Freedom and expression of Divinity.

In the Law of Creation this shell/matter/body cannot be discarded. It must be raised into union with Life and Spirit in the evolutionary process. Matter has sealed within itself the Spirit of Life until the individual grows in spirit and learn to transform the walls of his bodies (physical, emotional and mental bodies) into an open windows of the Spirit. The crystallized atoms of the human body must increase in vibration, spinning in a higher and finer rate of consciousness in order that the Spirit can express and manifest Itself. The process of purification through Education, Healing and Service will lead mankind to build better and more perfect bodies for his higher Self to take part in greater manifestation of the Divine Will. When man chooses to tread the path of constructive thought with emotion and action for the greater good he opens the avenues towards spiritual growth and purification. Man is the builder of his three temples: the physical, emotional and mental bodies, and transmute them into a golden tabernacle for the Soul within, to arise and manifest his Divine purpose.

Man has to prepare to build his own temple using coarse ashlar and make it into a finest and smoothest slab of stone for his temple, decorated by the purest, glowing gems, a symbol of molded thoughts, emotions and actions expressing his highest ideals that will serve as a shining vehicle for his Soul.

When man develops his bodies with the finest material, it expands until the Spirit triumphantly rises from the walls of matter, blessing its temple and raising into union with Itself. This is the moment of the Mystical Union of the Soul with the personality, also known as a Soul-infused personality.

But of course, a price has to be paid, which is laboured with Love and Wisdom. A Master had told us that everything can be bought with a quantitative amount of attention. Attention to what? Attention to refining and purifying the personality and it’s bodies which are the physical, emotional and mental through constructive thoughts, emotions and actions of the highest ideals that integrates these bodies into one whole body for the Soul to manifest its Divine purpose in this planet to serve Humanity. He becomes a sun, a great reflector of Light radiating from every cell of his being in the Physical and Spiritual bodies, enlightening his surroundings and all that is within his sphere of consciousness.

What are the actions to be taken to build a shining tabernacle for the soul and the God within? Attention and clarity: clarity of physical and spiritual concepts, desires and actions. We have to look deeper into these ideals, including the Law of Hierarchy that exists in all realms of existence in the universe. The hierarchical arrangement starts from the mineral kingdom, with the atoms and elements; in the plant kingdom; the animal kingdom; and finally the human kingdom. In the spiritual kingdom there is no issue with hierarchy because its level or rank is measured by vibrational realities one automatically resonates and inhibits that realm, whereas in human kingdom there are those who lead, but in truth, according to hierarchy, should be following. They use material things and shrewdness to be the leader. Thus we have a society and system where the blind are leading the blind. The next stage when we understand the inevitability of our Ascension in the Light, opening our eyes to the deathlessness of the Spirit, the immortality of our True Being, giving us the opportunity to rise and rise and rise from perfection to perfection, reaching the unreachable star like the spark of light becoming brighter and brighter and brighter and never ceases in its brightness, and that one day that spark will be a star, shining brightly in the sky above. 

When we see that the Soul and Spirit has no gender, we realize that gender is of the physical body alone. A Master has said that “If you follow this path, you will have to drop gender, because it is of the body alone. Drop false identification and re-pair to the Soul that you have always been. It shall be a veil that drops from your sight, and the more clairvoyant you will be to the degree that you can accomplish it.” Look at the world today, the human mind is slowly expressing the different kinds of gender. The LGBTQIA +++, where L is lesbian, G is gay, B is bisexual, T is transgender, Q is queer, I is intersexual, and A is asexual, having no urge. These may have to happen for the next two hundred years to dis-cover and understand that the soul has no gender. It is through these processes that the mass consciousness will see with clarity that gender is for the physical body only. Upon the realization that Soul has no gender, a new type of relationship will emerge: A relationship that is free from the bondage of sex. All bonds of relationship will end except for that friendship and fellowship, like the endless bond of fellowship of the atoms, planets, suns, stars, gods and man to the endless flight of their infinite destination. An eternal bond of Comrades in Light, Love and Truth in the spiritual world aim to manifest in the physical world. This is the natural path of the Evolution of Consciousness. 

We will touch Love and Humility, an integral parts of the universe that hold everything in place. These are also the underlying essence of the Soul’s temple. One may show his power and strength to men, but before the Creator what have we to offer? except humility, love. All of man’s material wealth, possessions, properties, jewels are naught before Him. Only the body and soul of the aspirant, gleaming with radiance and perfection, can be offered to the most High. One’s Life is the only acceptable prayer in the eyes of the Creator. To paraphrase the Master, “Humility is that wonderful feeling that all pretense is gone, that there is no face to wear, save that of Love and Compassion. The greatest Love is the greatest Humility and the greatest Humility is the greatest Presence.”

When the temple is ready, shining and glowing in the midst of darkness, allowing the Soul to be seen in the beautiful valley of the brow like the brilliant Sun permeating and enlightening every atom of the Temple, let the mind be stilled, let the heart be stilled, let the tongue be stilled, and in that Silence, stillness shall speak. The voice of stillness is the voice of the Spirit. Witnessing and experiencing these all simultaneously, seeing, hearing and touching the beautiful vibrating, pulsating energy of unconditional Love is the beginning of that intimate relation and communication with the truest part of us, our higher SELF, the CHRIST within.

Every human that is born on this planet has this opportunity to be a builder of his own Temple. He has the opportunity to willingly tread the path of quickening, the path of acceleration, instead of following the  natural flow of cycles of the evolution of Life, which would take aeon of time. The Mystery School offers this opportunity to humanity to lift up the world in chaos to be a better world to live in. Yours is a glorious opportunity and a Divine responsibility.
